InvestNuts is a game that allows you to explore the relationship between risk and return in investing in a playful way. In this game, you take on the role of a squirrel who is saving nuts for retirement by planting trees and harvesting their nuts. Different types of trees produce varying amounts of nuts in the summer and are affected differently by frost in the winter. By strategically planting trees, you can maximize your nut harvest and enjoy a relaxing retirement.

The game is easy to access and completely free to play! It also offers over 25 unlockable accessories to style your character with. Additionally, you can explore different game modes by trying to achieve all the game objectives. Compete with others on the 5 leaderboards to see who can accumulate the most nuts!

Developed in collaboration with game design students and financial experts during a GameJam, InvestNuts is supported by the digital asset manager VisualVest and their parent company Union Investment. The project is being scientifically evaluated to determine if games can help build financial knowledge.
