InvestNuts, developed by GonKu Games in collaboration with digital asset manager VisualVest and their parent company Union Investment, is an educational game that won the TOMMI Award in the "Education" category. The game is designed for anyone who finds finance too dry but would like to learn more about wealth building.

In InvestNuts, you play the role of a squirrel that accumulates nuts for retirement by planting trees and harvesting their nuts. The different tree species bear different amounts of nuts in the summer and are affected differently by frost in the winter. By planting trees strategically, you can harvest the most nuts and retire comfortably.

The game is easily accessible and free, and you can unlock over 25 accessories to style your squirrel. You can also try different game modes by attempting to achieve all the game objectives and compete with others in the five leaderboards.

The idea was developed in a GameJam with game design students and finance experts. The project is scientifically monitored to assess whether games can help build financial knowledge. InvestNuts is a fun and engaging way to learn about investing.
