In the initial phase, the portal aims to disburse up to Rs 5000 crore to depositors, with each depositor eligible to claim Rs 10,000. To claim a refund on the Sahara Refund Portal, depositors need to meet two conditions: their Aadhaar should be linked to their mobile numbers and bank accounts, and they must provide receipt details and fill out a form for further processing. The refund process is expected to take 45 days from registration on the portal. The Common Services Centre is also available to guide depositors through the online registration process.
