Idle Dig Factory is a free idle game where you can manage and operate your own mining company. In this simulation from Solid Games, players will have to mine for ores and explore lower levels in order to discover more precious stones. 

Similar to Idle Miner Tycoon, you will be provided with a number of tools in Idle Dig Factory that you can use — and eventually upgrade — in order to make the job easier for you. However, unlike the former, you have fewer characters to rely on; everything is done with the help of some machinery and a single administrator.

Idle Dig Factory takes you on an excavation to discover a variety of minerals hidden beneath the surface. You will start off mining for only one type of ore, however, as you continue to upgrade your machine and sell more and more of your ores, you can unlock new lines with more precious items. Aside from your usual stones, you can also unlock rare items with greater value.

The game’s mechanics are simple, which makes it ideal for new and casual players alike. You only need to purchase upgrades when you’ve earned enough money and wait for the ores to start rolling in. It also makes use of some appealing 3D graphics that allow you to move around your mining site smoothly. Players can also obtain a number of bonuses that will randomly float around their screens.

Something to note, though, is that the game does have some issues that keep you from collecting your offline income. This can be incredibly frustrating, especially when you were able to earn a large amount of in-game currency while you were gone. There is also an abundance of pop-ups that cause the game to crash unexpectedly, which gets in the way of gameplay.

While Idle Dig Factory presents some enticing features that can appeal to a wide range of audiences, there’s also much work to be done before players can fully enjoy what it offers. With issues that prevent you from collecting your income, this ultimately defeats its purpose as an idle game. You also have to deal with frequent crashes that keep you from playing the game for extended periods.
