I Expect You to Die is a VR puzzle escape game in which you take on the role of a suave international spy captured by a villainous corporation. Trapped in a series of deadly situations, you must solve trickier puzzles to get through them and complete your mission.

Defuse, mix, plug and escape

The situations I Expect You To Die places you in are different, but the fundamental mechanics are the same in each. From a seated position, you'll use your telekinetic powers -- yes, your spy can manipulate objects with mental force -- to move, pick up, and combine objects in the room around you to create a solution to the situation you find yourself in. All the while, your unflappable assistance will be feeding you a mixture of useful information and dry humor. The environments are detailed and the virtual reality experience adds a sense of tension and immediacy to the escape. Sadly, the game only contains a small number of puzzles.

I Expect You To Die provides a compelling escape experience with an enjoyable streak of absurd deadpan humor. Even with its short play time, it's worth checking out.
