Holodance
Holodance is a virtual reality hybrid game, combining elements from games like Guitar Hero with rhythm action from titles such as DDR.
Holodance is much easier to understand once you see a video of someone playing it. Essentially, targets and shapes flow towards the player in time with the beat of the music. You must hit the targets or ‘draw’ along the lines of the shape in order to score points and keep the song playing properly. However, the VR experience takes this genre in a whole new direction. The targets you need to hit can appear at all heights and distances, meaning you don’t just interact with your hands or feet. Targets and shapes can be interacted with using your hands, feet and your head - or a combination of all three. You’ll be experiencing a tunnel of music, lights and mayhem, trying to hit targets with every limb you've got!
This game is very much still in development. You’ll pay the full price to support the game, and hopefully the updates will come along in due course. Many negative reviews have been responded to by the development team who are already working on the issues their player base are discovering.
