What is it?

The High Resolution Texture Pack for Valius is a free and ongoing project to replace various textures within the game. It aims to create higher resolution textures to replace those in-game whilst trying to maintain the original style.

The project began in late 2016 and so far, there are two versions available:

High Resolution (2K) – 4K diffuse, 2K normal maps, and 2K specular maps

Ultra High Resolution (4K) – 4K diffuse, 4K normal maps, and 4K specular maps

The project is being actively maintained and there will be updates regularly.

Why is it important?

It's important to note that the textures in-game will not be displayed correctly without the use of a high-resolution texture pack. It also helps to improve the performance of the game, particularly with load times.

Using the High-Resolution Texture Pack for Valius, you should be able to see performance improvements.

How to install it?

To install the pack, you will need to download it from the official website.

After downloading the pack, you will need to open it in your favorite file editor and you will need to make a few changes to the Default.ini file.

The pack will then be installed and you will be able to start using it in-game.
