Hellpoint is a single and multiplayer game that takes place within a derelict space colony. Players will need to explore this large world, defeat lurking demons, and eventually unravel exactly why this colony was destroyed.

With characters and gameplay slightly similar to other popular platforms, such as Alien vs. Predator, the dark and brooding nature of Hellpoint is ideally suited for fans of horror and gore. This ambiance is then augmented with incredibly realistic cutscenes and a detailed storyline.

Events that are out of control

As opposed to traditional exploration-based FPS games, many of the events that occur in the colony are controlled by a nearby black hole. Sudden enemy spawns, horde assaults, and resource drops are a handful of examples. This adds a level of unpredictability to the overall experience.

A stimulating multiplayer mode

Players can also choose to battle demons in an online co-op setting. Combat and exploration will take place within a split-screen environment, and all loot will be shared. This is one of the best ways to vanquish difficult bosses.

Players are free to explore the colony in any way that they see fit. There are numerous hidden passages and secret levels to navigate. This sense of non-linear gameplay should provide an additional sense of realism alongside increased feelings of suspense.

Alien-inspired sci-fi

The dark and forbidding environments that players will encounter can be compared to those found throughout other games, such as Code Vein and Thymesia. Additionally, many elements are reminiscent of classic alien-inspired science-fiction movies. Solid combat mechanics, immersive levels, challenging demons, and a decidedly haunting soundtrack round out the features of Hellpoint.
