Hello Neighbor VR: Search and Rescue is a VR horror-puzzle game developed by Steel Wool Studios. In this game, you sneak into your creepy neighbor's house to save your friend. The game is compatible with Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, Oculus Rift S, and PlayStation VR2 systems.  

In Hello Neighbor VR: Search and Rescue, players take control of a team of five kids and must infiltrate Mr. Peterson’s bizarre house to rescue their friend. The experience leans into VR immersion with tactile interaction, walkie-talkie character switching, and environmental threat awareness raised to a new level.

Each child holds a unique item, which must be coordinated through walkie-talkie perspective swaps to unlock progress pathways. This encourages non-linear problem-solving and offers refreshing flexibility. As you weave through the house, Mr. Peterson stalks the halls, requiring stealth, clever diversion, and timely hiding to succeed. Though glitches and bugs persist. 

The game features multiple playable characters, each with their own key items and skills. You can switch between the perspectives of the Rescue Squad team members at will, solving puzzles and avoiding the Neighbor as you attempt to reach the creepy basement. The environmental puzzles in the game require creative solutions, and you will have to increasingly use your wits to find alternate solutions to a dynamic range of puzzles. 

The non-linear exploration allows you to use your own approach to infiltrate Mr. Peterson's house by alternating perspectives, combining the character's skills to solve puzzles dynamically, uncover hidden mysteries, and reveal new pathways through your environment. As you progress through the game, you'll experience surreal and haunting revelations as the Rescue Squad learns more about the secrets of the Hello Neighbor universe. However, controls are wacky, and frame drops are noticeable.
