HEAVENHELLS: Anime Squad RPG is a free strategy game that throws players into a world where reality has already started breaking apart. Purgatory has opened, monstrous Hellions are pouring through, and the only meaningful resistance comes from girls fighting back. Be prepared for real-time tactics, a cast-driven story, and a world that gives those battles actual weight.

HEAVENHELLS: Anime Squad RPG is built around real-time tactics, four-WiTCH squad composition, and fights that want more from the player than passive auto-battle watching. Positioning, timing, and squad choice matter, which gives the combat a little more urgency than the average anime team RPG. Outside of combat, it appeals to players using personable and cute anime characters. 

The game has great visuals and character design. Its battle animation is also smooth.  However, the game has severe technical optimization issues, and its gacha mechanics can become too expensive. Additionally, progress can be sluggish, and it tends to be grindy. Players have also pointed out that it’s like a lower-quality version of Blue Archive.

HEAVENHELLS: Anime Squad RPG makes a good impression by pairing real-time squad combat with a strong anime identity and a story world that gives the action more purpose. Its focus on positioning, timing, and team composition helps battles feel more active than passive auto-RPGs. Still, while the presentation and cast add charm, the game suffers from technical issues and an expensive gacha economy.
