HARDCORE MECHA is an action game by RocketPunch Games. The game takes strong influence from the mecha anime genre, from the visuals to the over the top action. It also incorporates 2D shooting gameplay and focuses on precise combat. The game features two modes: Singleplayer Campaign and Local/Online Multiplayer Battle. Singleplayer Campaign mode comes with a story-rich plot and cinematic cutscenes. The game takes place in the future where Mars has been colonized by humanity. Prosperity blooms after the civil war on Earth. Hardcore Defense Corp. member and ace pilot Tarethur O’Connell and his team are assigned by the U.N.F. to find the missing intelligence officer “A” who was last found in Mars. The team eventually plunges into a greater crisis that would threaten Mars. Local/Online Multiplayer Battle offers action-packed combat against other players. Everyone can select the mecha of their choice and fight it out in either free-for-all or hardcore competitive duels.
