Hanuman Chalisa in Hindi is a devotional app that lets you read the Hanuman Chalisa, a poem addressed to Lord Hanuman. This app is based on the Ramcharitmanas by Tulsidas, a 15th-century poet and philosopher in India.

The poem is traditionally believed to have been written by 16th-century poet Tulsidas in the Awadhi language. It is his best known text apart from the Ramcharitmanas. The word "chālīsā" is derived from "chālīs", which means the number forty in Hindi, as the Hanuman Chalisa has 40 verses (excluding the couplets at the beginning and at the end).
