A useful but limited resource

The ethos of Handwriting HD should be admired, but there are a few areas in which it may fall short as an entirely effective learning resource. While children must use their fingertip or pointer to form characters in the app, this does not address the problem of hand-eye coordination associated with holding and using a stylus. Another issue with this application is the uninspiring visual experience it presents, which younger users may find completely disengaging.
