Finally - an app that, with just a swipe, turns your email into a point on your "to do" list. Handle can do this and much more, as it's a feature-rich productivity app aimed at organizing your life in just a few clicks.

Unique features

Handle isn't perfect - having to sign into a Dropbox account instead of creating an account with the app is confusing. It says it's to sync your data across your phone and the web, but why can't you sign up using an email address?

That aside, once you've signed in with Dropbox, you're ready to roll. Start adding tasks, organizing these into projects, and adding reminders and due dates. If you enable your location, you can also chose to be reminded as soon as you leave or arrive at a certain place. There is also the option to receive a daily reminder of all your tasks at a certain time.

Another great feature in Handle is the intelligent timeline, which stops you getting bogged down in a mountain of tasks that you should have done yesterday. For example, if you chose to only be reminded about a task when you arrive at a certain place then it won't show up until you get there.

The email feature that I love so much (which sadly only works with Gmail at the moment) means that when you swipe an email to the right you can either create a to-do, add a reminder, or place it to your calendar(s). Simple as that. Once you've synced your Gmail account(s), you can also read and respond to all of your emails from within Handle. It's a one stop shop for getting things done.

Currently, there aren't any collaboration features, so you can't work on tasks with friends or colleagues or assign to-dos to other people.

One click away

Handle simplifies the process of managing your to-do list by making the app incredibly user friendly. The left sidebar allows you to quickly jump into your to-dos, email, or calendar. The to-dos can be viewed by time due, by project, or by location, and there is even a handy list of your completed tasks. All your email (not just the ones you've marked to be reminded of), is accessible from Handle, and you can manage a number of different calendars from within the app (creating events and adding reminders)

The beauty of Handle is that it makes all these features just a click or swipe away. Swipe left on a task to add a reminder, or right to add to a project. Everything is easy and intuitive.

My new favorite to-do app

Having previously been torn between whether I prefer Any.Do and Wunderlist, I've now found my new favorite. The Dropbox sign in does annoy me, but not enough to put me off using Handle. The incredibly, modern interface that makes all actions a swipe or a click away - combined with the excellent range of features - means my life feels that little bit more organized already.
