Granny – Inside Dead is a simple little platformer that pays homage to Granny, the highly popular cult game. Published by Smart Games Pro MX, Inside Dead will truly test players’ reflexes.

A simple yet addictive platform experience

Set against a shadowy scarlet backdrop, players must negotiate obstacles by a tap of the screen. Holding a finger down for longer results in a much bigger jump. Sounds simple, right? The challenging part of this game, however, arises from the fact that the character closes his eyes while jumping, which also causes the screen to darken, impairing the player’s view. Although the graphics are basic, the aesthetic fits in well with the horror theme of the game.

A totally different take on Granny…

Granny – Inside Dead is average. It’s hard to imagine anyone who isn’t a fan of the concept of Granny being interested in this game, yet it is so different from it in terms of gameplay that there are a lot of fans that won’t click with it either. As a title in its own right, however, this is an enjoyable platformer which will keep you glued to your device – at least for a day or so.
