Gacha Nymph is a free-to-play standalone mod of the popular social RPG, Gacha Life. Unlike other mods, though, this one is more focused on a single-player adventure that includes observational and memorization skills. Thrust into a new game world, your customizable avatar must travel and find the way back to your world.

Like any other game in the Gacha world, Gacha Nymph still sports the familiar anime-style artwork and massive customization options. However, its gameplay sets it apart, which focuses on solving puzzles instead of simply dressing up, unlike Gacha Art or Gacha Club.

A puzzle-based journey

As mentioned, Gacha Nymph is quite different from its contemporaries. In this game, your main task is to find objects within a time limit. For every stage, you are shown a set of objects. After exactly five seconds, the items disappear, and you’ll need to find their positions from the provided backdrop. It starts easy and becomes gradually challenging as you go along.

Like most Gacha games, the art style is the first thing to notice here. It also uses recognizable anime-style designs for its characters and accessories. The background and set designs also follow the same aesthetic, making it intuitively likable for franchise fans. Additionally, it has a good selection of clothing themes, accessories, hairstyles, face expressions, and more, letting you customize your own in-game avatar.

As a standalone mod, it doesn’t need a copy of Gacha Club on the device. However, fans of the franchise will find a lot of similarities, particularly in the costumes available. This puts this mod at a disadvantage compared to other games with original content. Aside from this, note that the late-game levels can be too challenging, with a lot of objects to find within the same time limit.

One of the more unusual entries

While most Gacha Life mods are content with just having their own costumes and the same gameplay, Gacha Nymph goes in a different direction. Its unique memory-based object-finding concept, paired with most of the things people love about the franchise, makes it a good and unique entry. However, this innovative premise is offset by the lack of originality in its outfits and accessories. Still, for Gacha fans, it’s worth a shot.
