Funkaloid (UTAU Covers) - Friday Night Funkin' Mod is a game utility created by indie developer GameBanana. As the name suggests, this is a mod for the popular music game Friday Night Funkin'.

Unlike other FNF mods, such as VS Kapi and The X Event, Funkaloid does not add new characters. Rather, it is a song pack, which brings new custom UTAU covers for the songs already featured in the game. It features improved charts for each song. Not only that, but it also includes 14 tracks. However, it is still in the demo stage, so expect a few issues. 

What is Funkaloid?

Friday Night Funkin' is a music rhythm game that depends heavily on music as the players need to hit the correct notes at the correct time. In the game, the players take on the role of the Boyfriend, trying to impress his Girlfriend. He has to defeat opponents in a battle of music. The game comes with various enemies and features different tracks.

However, while it is a popular game, it can be boring over time. The gameplay is repetitive, and it features the same characters over and over. Luckily, the software supports modding, allowing other developers to introduce new content to the game. One of those is Funkaloid or UTAU versions. As mentioned, this mod brings new custom UTAU covers of the songs already featured in the game.

Adding the songs to your game is easy. After downloading, extract the files and replace them with the original game files. Currently, the mod has 14 tracks, which are all songs from Friday Night Funkin'. However, these are covers made in the UTAU software. With this, your game will have a new sound. Note, however, that this is still in the demo mode, so it is not complete yet.

While it does not introduce new things to the game per se, it overhauled the original songs and gave it a new sound. However, the rest of the game will still be the same.
