The premise follows a character who wakes up in a strange place filled with shadows, tribes, monsters, and buried secrets, searching for a way out while uncovering the valley’s darker truth.

Players can explore areas such as the desert, quarry, and other locations while meeting seven tribes that can help with survival and discovery. This gives the game a broader structure than a simple dungeon crawler, since communication and trade seem to matter alongside fighting. However, it can be repetitive over time. 

There are 25 different enemies, 24 monsters, and four bosses, while also noting that enemies grow stronger each time they are slain. That detail gives the game a roguelite-like pressure where victory can make later encounters more dangerous. It also encourages players to think carefully about how they build their character instead of simply rushing through every fight.
