Fire Flying is a free game of strategy that involves taking to the air in an attempt to control – and eventually extinguish – wildfires. Use your aircraft to collect water from lakes and rivers and then dump it in the most strategic places possible. The game offers an overhead view, so you can see smoke, burned areas, and flames.

With your aircraft loaded with water, send it towards the wildfire below. Do this by drawing a line from the airplane's current location to where you want it to go next. Bear in mind the wind speed and the direction of the wind, however. It could change, meaning you could end up going in the wrong direction.

What is Fire Flying?

Fire Flying is a fun game that has an arcade-style appearance while offering many elements of turn-based strategy. As such, it will appeal to fans of both sorts of games. Note that the choice of which aircraft to use is crucial. Some are nimble and fast but have smaller water storage capacities as a result. Others have huge payloads.

22 puzzling levels

Fire Flying has 22 pre-loaded levels to complete, which means that it'll hold most players' attention as they make progress. You can earn achievements while putting out fires when playing. It is also worth knowing that aircraft upgrades that can help you complete the trickier levels are available. However, this game is not a simulator like FLIGHT SIMULATOR: War Game.

A free game with no fireflies

Fireflies don't feature in this strategy game — just firefighting and flying skills. In this regard, it has much in common with Wildfire Suppression, an arcade-style app. If you like games that make you plan ahead, then try Fire Flying.
