You get to play as one of the random moviegoers here, who has a randomized set of desires to achieve in order to have a great time at the movies. These can range from eating all snacks to sitting next to a celebrity. There are three simple parts to each playthrough: finding a seat, enjoying refreshments, and exiting the theater. Afterward, you get a movie review from the character.

The number of stars the review has is indicative of how successful you were at your tasks while avoiding contracting the virus. Part of this is keeping your mask up all throughout, which has a dedicated button. Completing all challenges is easy enough since you can reroll character desires. What’ll take time is unlocking the secret ending. However, the game ought to add an in-game tutorial for all controls.
