Like every annual release, FIFA 16 Soccer is centered on the Ultimate Team mode. However, while the graphics are impressive, the controls remain unchanged and offer no noticeable improvements. Returning players can quickly adapt to the familiar gameplay, but those expecting more responsive mechanics might find the experience somewhat repetitive.

The controls feel largely unchanged, while team management offers few meaningful improvements. Because of this, some players believe the experience falls short of expectations, with certain mechanics feeling less refined than those found in the previous installment.
