FIFA 15 Ultimate Team
Create a team of champions and take it to glory
The mobile version of FIFA 16
FIFA 16 Soccer, developed by EA Canada and published by ELECTRONIC ARTS, is the mobile and tablet version of FIFA 16, a popular sports title. This allows fans of the game to play it anytime, anywhere, and those who don't have PCs and consoles, to enjoy it.
Like every annual release, FIFA 16 Soccer is centered on the Ultimate Team mode. However, while the graphics are impressive, the controls remain unchanged and offer no noticeable improvements. Returning players can quickly adapt to the familiar gameplay, but those expecting more responsive mechanics might find the experience somewhat repetitive.
FIFA 16 Soccer invites you to build the ultimate football squad. You buy, trade, or win players as if they were stickers. You also choose your play style, formation, and equipment. Here, more than 10,000 players based on actual players and 500 teams from around the world are at your disposal, allowing you to find players who are in sync and have chemistry.
More than the standard matches, this title offers several activities that keep gameplay engaging. Skill Games provide a useful way to sharpen passing, shooting, and defensive techniques before entering more competitive modes. Regular events and rotating objectives add fresh goals while rewarding consistent play. Meanwhile, detailed stadium designs also enhance the atmosphere, making each match feel closer to a real football broadcast.
Although the graphics have made a great leap forward, thanks to EA Sports, which used a new engine as good as the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, the playability is the biggest letdown for this title since it has improved very little since the previous game. Some users even think that it has gone a step backwards, especially in team management.
FIFA 16 Soccer delivers an enjoyable football experience with polished visuals, a deep Ultimate Team mode, and enough content to keep players engaged over time. Building squads and taking part in various challenges remain satisfying, especially for dedicated fans of the series. However, the limited gameplay improvements and less responsive controls make this installment feel more like a visual upgrade than a meaningful evolution, which might disappoint long-time players.
