Farming Simulator 17 is a simulator centering around the role of a modern farmer. Developed by GIANTS Software, this open-world sim aims for realism when it comes to portraying farming. The possibilities are near-endless with over 250 authentic farming vehicles and equipment matched with farming over hundreds of acres of land, including a detailed North American environment.  

In Farming Simulator 17 players must grow crops, raise livestock, man machinery, and manage finances whilst keeping their crops fresh. There’s also new features and mechanics ready to be explored as it brings the Farming Simulator series to a new level. 

A life in a day of a farmer 

Farming Simulator 17 is a simulation that perfectly entails what it means to run a farm with all its processes intact. In this farm you’re all the hands you can get, meaning you’ll have to manage farming as well as non-farming aspects like finances. Figure out how you plan to build your farm and increase your enterprise to gain more profit to be used to buy more land. 

In a farm you’re also required to create a ranch for your sheep, cattle, pigs, and chickens to maximize profit. Ranching takes skill and patience, requiring the right vehicles and equipment to be used and they don’t come cheap. You can also make money by generating clean energy which is recently added to this iteration, you can purchase and place Windmills and Solar Panels. 

The graphics this time are quite enhanced which is better than the previous version, delivering a better model and texture details for every asset. However, there are stiff animations that remain. Although one of the better aspects of the game is its online experience with up to 6 players able to join with the multiplayer experience, making for either hilarious multiplayer mayhem or optimized farming fun.
