The Simple Rework mod is an easy-to-use, free, and customizable mod that removes the non-unique schematics and also lowers the sell value of schematics to prevent players from gathering too much money from selling them. It is a simple modification to the existing system, so if you already have a saved game with the mod installed, you will not have to download it again. The only things that have been changed are the sale value of the schematics and the unlocking of the items. It is possible to remove the schematics from the game entirely, so if you don't want to use them for unlocking items, you can get rid of them entirely.

The main reason for removing the unique schematics is that we felt that the current system was a little too unique and that players were getting a lot of benefits from the uniqueness of the system. For example, a player could get a unique gun, and that would be the only way to get it.
