The Eight Sleep app is a free lifestyle app developed by Eight Sleep Inc. This app requires an Eight Sleep Pod or Pod Pro Cover to work, which provides dynamic temperature regulation, advanced biometric tracking, sleep coaching, and smart home integrations. With the smart temperature mode, the bed temperature automatically adjusts throughout the night for optimal sleep. The app also tracks over a dozen physiological and environmental data points, including time slept, respiratory rate, and sleep stages.

The AI-engine calculates your sleep fitness score and sleep patterns, provides recommended Pod settings, and lets you compare with your friends and peers. You can even integrate the app with other Wi-Fi-enabled devices such as Alexa, Google Home, or Philips Hue lights. Additionally, the app integrates with the Health App to save your nightly sleep session data, including total hours slept and sleep stage information.
