Eclipse is a premium role-playing game for PC by developer MadRock. It is an isometric RPG adventure set in a dark fantasy world, wherein players will take on the role of an ancient god who awakens from his slumber to save a small village from hordes of monsters and eradicate them at the source. 

Awakened god 

Eclipse takes place during medieval times, wherein you assume the role of an ancient god who awakens from centuries of slumber in order to save a small village on the brink of destruction by a monster from an abandoned dungeon. What makes this game stand out is that it incorporates sci-fi themes into its gameplay and lets you equip and wield futuristic weapons against demonic creatures.

Explore multiple unique dungeons, and combine the newfound weapons with your godly abilities to locate and destroy the source of evil, as well as find out how this technology ended up in your era. The overall gameplay experience leaves a lot to be desired, though, with poor voiceovers, thin content, and just a general lack of polish from both a visual and technical standpoint.

Could have been good 

In conclusion, the concept behind Eclipse is an interesting one, where medieval meets sci-fi themes. However, the execution falls short, and what you get is an unpolished and barely complete experience that is not worth it in its current state. Unless major changes happen, you’re better off playing something else.
