Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna expands the original game with a new campaign that takes players from the Kingdom of Ehb into the untamed lands of Aranna. This adventure features nine diverse areas, including lush jungles and frigid arctic wastelands, providing a rich backdrop for exploration and combat. Players will encounter over 100 different creatures, enhancing the gameplay experience with a variety of challenges and encounters.

The expansion introduces significant enhancements, including 50 new spells such as Diminution, Animal Rage, Zorkon's Bonecrusher, and the Orb of Fire. Additionally, players can now choose to play as a new character, the half-giant, who brings a unique brute force approach to combat. As players progress, they will develop their skills in hack-and-slash mechanics, leading to increasingly rewarding gameplay.
