Drop Pockets is a turn-based roguelite sports game. Developed and published by Children of Madness for PC, this physics-based strategy title allows players to compete against a selection of pool sharks who do not abide by the rules of the game. 

Ever-changing mechanics 

Drop Pockets is not just a simple pool game. While it has the basic elements of pool, the rules in this title are ever-changing. Pool sharks can introduce new mechanics in various ways, including distorting physics rules, placing new challenges, and spamming the board with balls. 

To even things out, you can make upgrades and combine Chalks, Racks, and Cues to craft a formidable build and achieve a high score. Unfortunately, this title suffers from a couple of drawbacks, including crashes on cue change, post-boss interaction breaks, and frequent save issues.

Drop Pockets offers a chaotic yet clever twist on traditional pool, blending strategy, roguelite elements, and unpredictable mechanics. Its creative upgrades and rule-breaking opponents keep gameplay fresh and engaging. Despite some technical issues, it’s a bold and inventive take on cue sports that rewards experimentation and strategic thinking.
