Blood Bowl 3 is an action-packed turn-based football game that pits a team of orcs and elves against human competitors. While inspired by the rules of American football, the sheer level of hard-hitting brutality to be experienced is not for the faint of heart.

Envisioned by the developers of the original Blood Bowl, this third iteration leaves nothing on the field in regard to action, turn-based strategy and dark humor. Likewise, compared to previous versions, the graphics have been improved.

War by another means

The Blood Bowl franchise tells a story of a world that was gripped by eternal conflict at one time. However, different inhabitants eventually decided that it would be better to settle their differences by playing football. Still, the merciless nature of the competitions is just as real.

Strategy and forethought

Players will take on the role of the team manager. They must recruit demons, develop in-game strategies and choose which members to place on the field based on their unique skill sets. When a fatal injury occurs, an entirely new player will need to be recruited.

A host of new features

Several improvements have been made to Blood Bowl 3. There are now 12 different competitions to choose from, and even the cheerleaders located on the sidelines can be customized in accordance with user preferences. Other enhancements include flexible timing options, in-depth competitive modes, and a solo campaign known as the Clash of Sponsors.

The Season 9 update

Season 9 introduces the highly anticipated Eternal League, a polished and expanded single-player campaign designed for all aspiring coaches. This mode takes your team on a long-term journey, allowing you to become the Ultimate Champion of Blood Bowl by competing across multiple tiers. Time progresses through seasons (Autumn, Winter, Spring, Summer) as you complete competitions, with new years beginning every four seasons.

The Eternal League features three Conferences of increasing difficulty: Rookie, Pro, and Elite, each offering unique competitions per season, letting you choose your path. Winning enough matches earns you Badges, and securing three Badges unlocks a Conference's Playoff. Winning these off-season Playoff challenges allows you to advance through Conferences, ultimately leading to the Blood Bowl itself. Additionally, you can reset your progress if you want, anytime.

Classic melee action in a streamlined package

Due to the sheer popularity of Blood Bowl 2, it's no surprise that this latest version has been developed. Whether choosing a single-player mode or online PvP competitions, there is no doubt that the traditional football gridiron will never feel the same.
