Dragons Spirits 2 is set in the bustling city of Metapolis, it slowly begins as a visual-novel story with multiple dialogue options which suddenly evolves into the descent of dragons that spawn in the city. With dangerous dragons invading the city, you realize the power to control and turn them into allies. Collect dragon souls to form a team and help defend the city. 

This monster collector features an immense combat system and intricate mechanics to learn from which is supplemented by its storylines and character narrative.  Get stronger bonds as you nurture, upgrade, and equip your beloved dragons with items to complete your perfect battle strategy and dominate the arena. While the game offers significant upgrades from the previous title, it still has some dragons and items that break the overall game balance. 

The style of the game mixes anime-inspired visuals for human characters and majestic and distinct art styles for the plethora of dragons in the game. Additionally, it has a unique modern-urban aesthetic. It also exhibits an exciting soundtrack that suits the theme, leading to hype moments when beating that difficult boss. However, some of the in-game narratives are poorly translated which can break the immersion.

Dragon Spirits 2 successfully expands on its predecessor with enhanced graphics, engaging storylines, and refined mechanics. Set in the vibrant city of Metapolis, players can build powerful squads of unique dragon spirits to face formidable foes. While it offers immersive gameplay and a captivating aesthetic, some balance issues and translation errors may detract from the overall experience. Nevertheless, it stands as a worthy successor for RPG enthusiasts.
