Death Coming is an indie non-linear puzzle game. You play as a recently deceased mortal who must help the Grim Reaper with his endless task while avoiding the celestial police.

Into the void

Death Coming begins with your untimely demise. An unremarkable NPC, you become death's apprentice in an effort to return to life and avoid the fiery afterlife. The game contrasts this dark theme with a cartoony art style made up of pixel art and Theme Hospital. Gameplay revolves around set levels with an arcade points based on number and style of deaths. You are tasked with taking the lives of as many people as possible but, as an agent of the Grim Reaper, you can not directly impact mortals. Levels are filled with numerous ways to kill NPCs, from wobbly air conditioners to bringing down alien invaders. Angels roam the levels with lights, searching for any suspicious activity. If they come across any of your wrongdoings, then game over. Each level has a variety of objectives and high scores up for grabs. Death Coming is a light-hearted and fun puzzle game which suffers slightly from repetition.

Death Coming is a silly puzzle title which manages to combine death and arcade action. The extra combos and hidden secrets add some depth, but there is still a lack of real content.
