Data Center is a premium simulation PC game by developer Waseku. It is a first-person simulator experience about running a data server center. Players will start from the ground up, with a large vacant space wherein they will build out rack servers that will house and process massive amounts of data, as well as the essential infrastructure to support their operation.

In Data Center, you’ll build and manage a data center for a diverse set of customer needs. Experiment with different layouts and workflows and adapt to changing requirements by keeping your machine in optimal working condition through regular maintenance and creating redundancies to handle malfunctions and emergencies. Witness everything visually represented by multicolored spheres running down different pathways to their client destination. 

Increase your reputation to receive more contracts and earn XP to unlock new devices and purchase upgrades for your rig. Your machines will wear down and fail over time, so plan for replacements to stay ahead of the curve. Some players will find the experience overly simplified or inaccurate compared to its real-world counterpart.

In conclusion, Data Center manages to stand out from the rest with its unique theme and premise that lets you experience what it’s like to essentially be a systems administrator and the tasks and challenge that role entails. While it’s not the most realistic or accurate experience by real IT standards, it’s a fun and interesting ride all the same.
