Pharaoh: A New Era is a strategy game that begins in the time of the Pharaohs in Ancient Egypt. The object of the game is to build your city from scratch, making use of only the natural resources at your disposal, such as the fertile River Nile. As the simulation game progresses, more resources become available.

There are 50 different in-game missions in Pharaoh: A New Era, so there is something to keep most players entertained for many hours. It takes time to master the strategy needed to build pyramids, construct sphinxes, and even erect the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria. Keep foes at bay as your kingdom develops.

4K visuals and 4,000 years of history

The graphics in this game have been redesigned to offer a sense of the grandeur of the period in which it is set. Unlike Brickshooter Egypt or Egypt Princess Royal Hose Cle, this game has realistic visuals rather than cartoon-like ones. When your buildings are under construction, you can check progress by zooming in on them.

A city builder remake

This game is not original. In fact, Pharaoh: A New Era is a remake of an existing game with improved gameplay and graphics. This edition includes the Cleopatra: Queen of the Nile expansion pack and an updated user interface. The menu options are simpler to use, and there is also a re-orchestrated soundtrack to enjoy.

What’s new?

A recent update patch brings forth a handful of changes to make the gameplay experience better and smoother. One of these is the ultra-wide support feature, which is targeted to players who prefer playing the game with a wider screen. Furthermore, there are minor tweaks to both the interface and gameplay, such as having mission objectives displayed more clearly and adding icons to problematic buildings. Besides that, reported bugs have been fixed as well.
