DAR PLAYER is a free Android media player that focuses on playing user-provided content. It supports Live TV, VOD, series, radio, and local audio and video files through M3U URL playlists and Xtream Codes API. A refreshed layout, parental control, and dynamic language switching aim to make navigation feel straightforward across phones, TV-style devices, and remote-friendly setups.

Your sources, your streams, your rules

DAR PLAYER centers on flexible playback by supporting both Xtream Codes API and M3U URL inputs, along with local file playback. It covers live broadcasts, movies, series, and radio as long as the source is provided by the user. The app also includes parental control for restricting access to certain content areas, plus dynamic language switching for users who prefer changing the interface language without digging through device settings.

Setup stays simple, but the playlist does the heavy lifting

Setup relies on user-provided sources, so you enter a playlist URL or service credentials to populate channels and libraries. The updated layout is designed to feel readable on a small screen and usable from a couch distance on TV-style devices. Performance and playback stability depend heavily on the quality and formatting of the playlist or provider source, so a messy list can translate into a messy viewing experience.

Android-first compatibility with a clear disclaimer

DAR PLAYER is built for Android devices and is listed as working on Android phones, Android TVs, FireSticks, and similar hardware. It does not include any streaming content and does not provide codes for streaming, so it only functions when you add your own playlist or provider details. The developer also notes that some videos may not display in full screen mode, depending on what is available in the playlist source.

A straightforward player for people who already have access

DAR PLAYER fits users who already have a playlist or provider credentials and want a single Android app that handles live streams and on-demand libraries without extra clutter. Its biggest strengths are broad input support through Xtream Codes API and M3U URL, plus practical controls like parental control. The main trade-offs come from the fact that nothing is included, and viewing quirks like full-screen behavior depend on the playlist source.
