Cygnus Enterprises is a futuristic role-playing game from Team Miaozi where players will have to explore a whole new world and rebuild society in order to thrive. This game presents an entertaining mixture of shoot-em-up and city-building games that allows you to enjoy the game without it feeling too repetitive.

Cygnus Enterprises is comparable to titles like Manor Lords, which also requires you to manage resources in order to continuously grow your territory and satisfy your residents’ needs. Take note, though, that the game is still in development, so updates and additional content will be added over time.

Extensive world-building

In Cygnus Enterprises, players will be residing in an alien world, where they have to battle against unknown creatures that lurk about while also managing their base. Players have free rein over how they want to construct their base—from the buildings they want to place to the types of resources they want to focus on. You’ll also be able to research technologies to help advance your weaponry and services.

Players can customize their own characters and assign skills from six different skill trees. You’ll also have the ability to choose from over 50 unique weapons that you can switch between depending on the enemies you’ll be facing. In case you want more options, you can trade with other players in the barter system. There’s also the option to loot other bases or craft your own resources, as well.

All of these are presented in a visually appealing 3D format that makes use of stunning sceneries. The sizable map features a variety of weather conditions and settings, including a scorching desert and dark, snow-covered lands. Keep in mind, though, that the game requires a 64-bit processor and operating system, as well as 15 GB of available space to minimize the occurrences of lagging.

Could use some polishing

Although Cygnus Enterprises has a great number of interesting features—such as the ability to customize your character and build your own home base—it still requires a few fixes in terms of the laggy graphics. This can be avoided, though, by following the minimum required specs for your device. Nevertheless, the game also offers stunning maps and fast-paced battles which make it worth the steep requirements.
