Containment Initiative is a multiplayer action game set in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by a zombie outbreak that lets you fight off enemies. Containment Initiative works similarly to games like Ready or Not, Bodycam, Call of Duty, and Half-Life: Alyx, which gives players a survival shooter experience on a rigorous battlefield. The weapon mechanics in this game are highly realistic, offering a variety of guns with satisfying handling, reload animations, and physics.

Kill zombies alone or with friends 

In Containment Initiative, players can take on the zombie threat solo or with friends. The game offers four modes: single-player, multiplayer, Steam remote play, and local co-op. The two players can share the same PC, with one using VR and the other providing support with a mouse and keyboard. Your objectives in this game vary depending on your chosen mode and map. 

Players can also choose from three game modes: scavenge, survival, and defense. In Scavenge Mode, players must eliminate infected enemies and collect supply crates. While Survival Mode challenges players to hold their position against increasingly difficult zombie hordes. Meanwhile in Defense Mode, players must protect a crashed helicopter on a bridge while waves of infected and mutants try to destroy it. 

The game also includes a robust progression system, allowing players to unlock guns, attachments, player upgrades, and more. Loot items like exclusive weapon skins, new melee weapons, and ammo upgrades are available too, helping players gear up as they aim for the top of the online leaderboards. However, while the game is enjoyable, its battle mechanics are nothing new compared to similar titles in the genre.
