Conrad Stevenson's Paranormal P.I is an indie game developed by D&A Studios, LLC. As the name suggests, this simulation game allows you to play as a private investigator. However, instead of crimes, you will investigate paranormal activities in various locations.

As this is a ghost hunting game, expect tons of jumpscares in Conrad Stevenson's Paranormal P.I. However, unlike horror games, it leans toward realistic ghost hunting. The paranormal entities do not hunt or kill you. What you do is go to the location and gather details with your equipment. The ghosts will then show up as you investigate. 

How do you play this game?

Conrad Stevenson's Paranormal P.I is a first-person single-player simulation game. As mentioned, you play as a paranormal private investigator. Your task is to investigate the haunting in various locations. Armed with equipment, such as an electromagnetic field (EMF) meter, audio recorder, camera, and flashlight, you’ll gather evidence of the haunting. You can finalize the investigation sooner, but it may underwhelm your clients and prevent the investigation of new locations.

At the start of the game, you will start with limited locations to investigate. However, as you wrap up more cases, you will be invited to new locations. Each new investigation will randomly spawn different types of ghosts. Each ghost will also have unique behaviors, which affect your investigation. However, as mentioned, these ghosts will only show up and will not hurt or kill you.

This game can still be scary despite the ghost being docile. The graphics are done well, creating a creepy atmosphere. Adding to the chilling environment is the audio design, which was petrifying. The ghosts even pop up out of nowhere, shoving and grabbing your character. However, while it is easy to play, the controls are locked in WASD. Unlike other games, you cannot bind it on other keys.

Should you play it?

If you are into paranormal activities, Conrad Stevenson's Paranormal P.I is for you. The game allows you to investigate ghosts haunting in various locations. You can even use cool equipment. However, as in real life, each investigation can take time. Additionally, the ghosts do not hunt you, unlike other horror games. However, the pacing builds suspense to keep you on your toes.
