Color Slayer is a casual action game for PC where you need to defeat enemies while avoiding all the obstacles along your way. You will play as a girl who wields two colorful swords. This can only be played in single-player mode. However, you will be able to compete against other players on the leaderboard.

Color Slayer was developed by the indie company, The Domaginarium. Much like the game Color Flash, you will have to run endlessly and gain more points until your character dies. You will also be able to obtain new outfits for your character as you progress.

Simple gameplay with bright visuals

With neon lights greeting you as soon as you enter, you’ll quickly be able to get a good idea of what you’ll be seeing as you speed through the game. The controls in Color Slayer are quite simple. All you need to do is drift away from the white obstacles and use your weapons to hit the colorful enemies and gain larger bonuses.

It also provides you with the ability to customize your character with a number of unique outfits. You can earn these clothing items by climbing your way up on the leaderboard and obtaining a large number of points for each round. Some of the outfits you will be able to find are even inspired by iconic films, such as “Kill Bill.”

While this arcade game features a number of great qualities, it’s important to take note that it does make use of low-quality resolution. With only 512 MB of video memory used for graphics, you can’t expect full HD resolution with lifelike movements. Additionally, you’ll also lose track of your high scores once you leave the game, so you can’t access them later on.

Still needs improvement

Color Slayer reels players in with its exciting gameplay, competitive nature, and fun customization features. By taking inspiration from popular films for the in-game outfits, fans will also be able to enjoy a nostalgic atmosphere. However, you cannot fully enjoy the colorful details due to the low resolution. This makes it more difficult to fully immerse yourself in the game and its environment.
