Coastal Observer SPOTTERON is an educational app designed to engage citizen scientists in monitoring weather events, water levels, and water quality to better understand local impacts of climate change. With a focus on building resiliency and promoting sustainability, users can choose from four activities: basic environmental observations, weather observations, water level measurements, and water quality assessments. The app allows observers to document stormy conditions, water levels, and water clarity through photographs and user input, contributing valuable data for research and awareness building.

Additionally, Coastal Observer for Schools offers educators a tool to incorporate environmental monitoring into their curriculum, fostering environmental awareness and providing opportunities for students to learn about and express their observations on water and weather events.
