Checkers for Windows 8 is a version of the classic piece-flipping game where the goal is to get to the other side, past your opponents, and to claim all of their pieces with your movement. This version stands out by offering decent single-player AI as well as a high degree of compatibility with even very weak tablets. On the other hand, the graphics are minimal at best and there is no multiplayer whatsoever. Still, if you like checkers, this is a good way to play it.
