Tune your cars to your heart’s content

Car Tuning Simulator is a racing and simulator game developed by Boom Games. Inspired by similar games such as Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 and TV shows like Pimp My Ride, Car Tuning Simulator is designed with the option to create, modify, and paint your very own car to your heart's content.

In Car Tuning Simulator, no prior knowledge of car mechanics and how the inner workings of a car function and how it runs is needed. All you need is your keyboard, mouse, and the will and guts to learn about the ropes of tuning cars as you play along with the game.

You’ve got to tune my ride

Car Tuning Simulator isn’t meant to be taken seriously as it is a game designed to make the players feel relaxed and immersed in the game’s environment and overall mechanics as they go through the beating engine of a car. This game might feel as if the player is hosting an episode of “Pimp My Ride.” Here you have a car customization editor.

As for the graphics, it is overall good. The gameplay is basic as one can expect, not too hard but not too basic. Players can choose from up to four cars along with some limited paint job styles and tuning parts that they can attach to their vehicles. It also has two maps where players can take their newly tuned car for a spin.

Although the game is solid, it needs a lot of polishing and a meaningful quality-of-life improvement that can better the player’s experience. It lacks missions which ultimately makes the game feel extremely repetitive, invisible objects getting in the way during driving sessions and the game’s physics needs some major improvements. You can also drift here but the physics of the game aren’t good.

From tuning to driving your car

Car Tuning Simulator needs major improvements despite its ups, and although it has been three years since the release of the game, it is still something that players can enjoy when they just want a simple game to while away the hours. The game itself is very limited in its offerings but for the price you pay for it, that’s all understandable.
