BURBUJAS FONÉTICAS is an educational app designed for native Spanish speakers, as well as children learning Spanish as a second or third language. This app aims to help children develop strong phonemic awareness skills, which research has shown to be a powerful predictor of reading success (Stanovich, 1986, 1993, Share & Stanovich, 1995).

With BURBUJAS FONÉTICAS, children can learn the primary sounds of the letters of the alphabet, providing a solid foundation for understanding the alphabetic principle. The app also helps children identify the beginning sounds of words and understand that words are made up of sound units (phonemes).

The app features two games where children match images with the same initial sound and another game where they eliminate the image with the initial sound that doesn't match the others. In the final game, children analyze two images and determine if they start with the same sound.

Additionally, there are six mini-games that appear randomly after reaching 20 points on the counter. Through these engaging games, BURBUJAS FONÉTICAS helps children develop strong phonemic awareness skills while having fun.

By practicing and mastering the games in this app, children can develop neural pathways in their brains related to sound recognition.
