Bonnie's Bakery is a free adventure title for PC by an indie developer who goes by the name aislebsoupid. It's a cooking game about a girl who runs a small bakery serving pastries and other baked sweets to customers. Players will help prepare and fulfill orders as they come.

Similar to Cooking Fever or Cooking Academy, Bonnie's Bakery is all about the food. The selection focuses on baked sweets and desserts, and players will follow recipes to make them properly. It takes on a more casual approach to gameplay, making it a bit more relaxing to play than others.

Seemingly quaint and harmless

The game revolves around none other than the titular Bonnie, a bakery owner with a penchant for creating sweet and delectable pastries and desserts. You will be helping her run her shop, from welcoming the day's first patron in the morning to cleaning and closing up at night. You’ll be taking and fulfilling orders from customers as they come—plenty to do with just one person.

You'll be baking all sorts of bread in Bonnie's Bakery. From delicious Red Velvet cakes to White Donuts, and a simple but tasty Pastry Bread. Follow the recipes using the kitchen equipment available and serve them while they're hot. There's even a special dish called Meet Bun, prepared by special order. This is where things turn sinister, and you find yourself in the shoes of one of the customers.

You see, things are not all sweets and rainbows in the bakery as you'll soon realize when you find yourself trapped in a basement. What happens next is something for you to find out through multiple endings. That last part is a good thing since a typical playthrough is short, lasting you about half an hour to finish depending on how you play.

Put simply, Bonnie's Bakery is pretty much a must-play for any fan of horror games. The way it is presented is done in such a clever and unassuming manner, which makes it even more impressive. Without giving too much away, the surprise twist was well executed and makes it worth a play for that reason alone. Check it out for yourself and see.
