Baldi’s Basics Plus is an action game. It is a quirky survival horror game masquerading as an educational experience inside a twisted schoolhouse. At first, the simple pixelated graphics and retro feel suggest a friendly, old-school learning title.   

In Baldi’s Basics Plus, you wander hallways collecting notebooks to progress, but the moment you step into Baldi’s domain, it becomes clear that this is anything but ordinary. Every notebook triggers a math question; answering correctly lets you move on, but getting it wrong summons Baldi, a stern teacher with a ruler in hand.   

Outrun his relentless pursuit  

In Baldi’s Basics Plus, he stalks the corridors, homing in on the slightest noise. Hallways echo with his footsteps, and every creak of a floorboard raises tension. As you scramble to find the next notebook, random events lurk around each corner. You might stumble into a flooded hallway, encounter a mischievous principal who forces you to stand in detention, or meet a character demanding you play a mini-game before passing.   

One run might see frogs hopping through the halls; the next could fill classrooms with obstacles you never saw before. Procedurally generated levels ensure no two playthroughs are the same. The school’s layout changes each session, so you can’t rely on memorization. Collect items like energy-flavored soda to move faster or safety scissors to unlock hidden shortcuts. But each power-up has limited uses, so you must strategize when to employ them.  

Baldi’s basic and more 

Baldi’s Basics Plus has multiple modes to keep you engaged. Main Mode challenges you to collect a fixed number of notebooks without running out of lives. Endless Mode tests how long you can survive while Baldi grows faster with each correct answer you avoid. Challenge Mode throws bizarre scenarios your way, like evading a giant ruler or tricking a hallway-racing bus. However, it has a steep difficulty curve after the first few levels.  

This horror adventure introduced several new features to enhance gameplay. Two new activities, "Balloon Buster" and "Match Machine," were added, providing players with additional challenges to complete alongside the Math Machines to earn notebooks. Additionally, two new random events, "Student Shuffle" and "Balder Dash," were introduced, adding more chaos and unpredictability to the game. These updates ensure that players have a fresh and engaging experience with each playthrough. Although performance issues persist.

The blend of creepy visuals, surprise events, and strategic gameplay keeps players alert and entertained.
