Attain the powers of a god 

In Atre: Dominance Wars, players assume the role of an Elder in a world ravaged by dark magic. Atre, a realm where four dimensions have merged, is steeped in mana, conflict, and political intrigue. As an Elder, your fate is to either rule or be ruled. To secure dominance, players must navigate diplomacy, manage the economy, advance technology, and engage in warfare. 

Throughout your journey, you have the option to pledge yourself to one of the High Lords, gaining divine powers capable of reshaping the land, modifying structures, or even annihilating entire regions. You can also employ your Envoy or immortal Avatars — elite aerial units that act as an extension of your will. These units can scout remote territories, participate in battles, or undermine enemy strategies. 

Not for the casual player

Players can also research spells and acquire powers, ranging from fostering prosperity to unleashing complete devastation. Here, you are bestowed with immense power and magic capable of reshaping or destroying the land, though this power comes at a price. The most formidable Elders may achieve godhood and unlock the Gate between worlds. However, the game’s steep learning curve requires you to simultaneously command armies, manage resources, and master battlefield tactics.

It can be very challenging, as discussed above about the game’s learning curve. The game's interface is cluttered, requiring hours of mastering compared to other games under the genre that borrow similar, familiar controls. Some of the mechanics can be difficult to grasp at first. Lastly, the game’s system requirement is also quite demanding, which is expected, since it has graphics that need a lot of computing power during gameplay.
