Trollz-like roguelite play
Arboria is a pay-to-play dark fantasy adventure developed by Dreamplant wherein you will explore eerie procedurally generated dungeons. In this third-person role-playing game, you will take the role of a Yotun warrior empowered with a wide range of tools. Armed with proper utilities, you will overcome different sets of challenges and defeat enemies through your symbiotic weapons.
Furthermore, undergoing bio-mutations will turn you into a monstrous warrior who's more than capable of crushing leagues of creepy opponents. If you wish to play more roguelite games like Arboria, you can try Rounds and Ethel Loop.
Fight, die, repeat
Playing Arboria will literally feel like a fight-die-repeat cycle because of the highly intense combat battles that you'll have to go through in order to save your Yotunz Tribe from the brink of extinction. This is mainly due to the Father Tree, the tribe’s life source, consuming an unknown disease. With that in mind, you'll aim to fulfill the prophecy and become the Chosen One, the tribe’s saving grace.
As mentioned, the Durnar dungeons are procedurally generated, which means they are vast and change is happening from time to time. To restore your tribe’s power, you must clash and surpass all the bizarre monsters that you will encounter. Remember to collect a sufficient amount of Veri as it will be used to please the various Godz you’ll meet in the dungeons.
Yotun Warriors are available for customization, evolution as well as upgrades, so you'll be able to equip and style them according to your preference and power needs. Depending on the current opponent you're facing, you can adjust the combat tactics you’ll utilize in order to get an advantage in the battle. Once your warrior’s health is depleted, death will be permanent requiring you to start from the beginning again.
Remarkable roguelite action adventure
If you're into massively competitive combat plays then, Arboria should be part of your gaming list, especially with its ever-changing dungeons that can make it extremely hard for you to strategize a battle plan. Dying here is inevitable, although unfortunately, it offers no respawn point for you to prevent restarting the gameplay. Nevertheless, the clashes between you and the ominous creature are addicting and satisfying.
