Apocalypse Mod is a freely downloadable package that is intended to be used with the Comand & Conquer series of games (specifically Yuri's Revenge). This modification has been created by Eternal Immortal God-Emperor Master Overmind of Borg, a well-respected software developer.

Note that Apocalypse Mod is not a game in and of itself. It is instead intended to be used to modify some of the features found within Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge.

A vastly improved tech tree

Apocalypse Mod has dramatically enhanced the options available within the existing tech tree. While based on the original Red Alert 2 design, additional elements like higher tiers and more units are now available.

Visual enhancements

A number of changes have taken place in regard to aesthetics. For example, arctic skins can be used within some infantry units, and the appearance of legacy items has been upgraded compared to the original versions.

Impressively flexible gameplay options

One primary intention of the Apocalypse Mod is to provide players with a greater degree of customization. As well as a handful of new tactics, countries are equipped with more units. There are even times when stolen tech can be used in order to improve one's overall standing in the C&C ecosystem.

An improvement on an already respected franchise

Apocalypse Mod is one of many upgrades that are available for Yuri's Revenge. Although similar to other bundles, such as Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge - a General's Game Mod, this is a standalone package. It cannot be used in conjunction with other software patches. Note that upgrades tend to occur on a regular basis, providing players with even more unique options to implement.
