Among the Sleep is a horror RPG intended to tap into the worst fears of many players. Taking on the role of a small child, users will awake to what appears to be a real-life nightmare. This child must eventually find its mother, and yet, this will not be easy within such a strange and twisted world.

While the dark nature of this game is similar to other platforms, such as The Mortuary Assistant, Among the Sleep takes the notion of horror to an even higher level. This is due in large part to the variety of unsettling scenes, as well as how they have been digitally choreographed.

From the perspective of a child

One unique feature is that the player will be performing tasks through the eyes of a young child. This provides a strange and disconcerting visual perspective. When combined with sound effects such as panicked footsteps and heavy breathing, a truly immersive experience awaits.

Unknown terrors await

Among the Sleep is an exploration game, and yet, the player must also keep moving forward due to an unknown entity that is in constant pursuit. This adds an element of urgency. The fact that the character is a young child who can barely walk provides an even greater challenge.

Numerous enhancements and in-game improvements

This version has been upgraded in order to provide the player with an even more immersive gaming experience. Examples include a digital art book, a fully integrated soundtrack, and improved visual elements. Note that third-party controller support is offered, and it is possible to obtain Steam achievements.

More than a standard horror RPG

Among the Sleep is comparable to The Forest in terms of unique gameplay and a gripping plot. When these are combined with captivating sound effects and numerous environments to explore, there is no doubt that they should leave a lasting impression.
