Amberlog is a Chrome extension designed for Amazon FBA sellers, resellers, and dropshippers who regularly research products. Instead of manually recording information, it automatically captures product data while you browse Amazon.com. The extension creates a personal sourcing history containing prices, rankings, ratings, sellers, and other publicly available product details over time.

Research without the spreadsheet work

Amberlog’s biggest advantage is its passive approach. Once installed, it records product pages without requiring clicks, tags, or manual entries. It tracks price, Best Sellers Rank, ratings, reviews, availability, Buy Box sellers, and product details. Users can compare tracked products, review seller information, export data as CSV, and monitor historical changes conveniently.

Privacy is another useful consideration. When signed out, data remains local to the browser, while signing in enables synchronization across devices and access to the companion dashboard. This extension does not request Amazon credentials or Seller Central access. However, a notable limitation is that it currently supports Amazon.com only, excluding other marketplaces for now.

A useful companion for product research

Overall, Amberlog is a practical sourcing tool for sellers who spend significant time evaluating Amazon listings. Its zero-click tracking can save repetitive data-entry work while building a more useful historical record than individual snapshots. With free access and no current limits, it is worth considering for frequent Amazon product research.
