The story follows Asuha Senahara, a wandering gambler who, after a crushing defeat by the Witches, vows to expose their fraudulent tactics and take them down. The game features characters including Mina Nosaka, who aids Asuha, and the Witches: Ulu Amamino, Yuragi Tenraku, and Lancille Kareido, respectively. The soundtrack and overall graphics are very anime-like, except for the card aspect of it, which has some standard designs.

While the game's aesthetic presentation, including Live2D rigging and some CGs, is generally considered decent, the gameplay and storytelling have received criticism due to their thin and repetitive plot points. Some find the mechanics unintuitive, with issues in communicating rules and balancing.
